I've never noticed how far from the plate Zimm is.

This was discussed several times when Zimm first came back.

Don't remember who, but a lot of people here claim Ankiel is great in center.

Great arm, we said.  Never great fielder.

Balester is making a case for using him in this long relief role.

Holy cow the Cubs are starting Ramon Ortiz on Tuesday. We seriously should be able to take 3 of 4 from them.

In the 2 games he has pitched in as the long reliever he has pitched lights out. 1 more inning might be a stretch but we will see.

Alright, about time to go get some shaved iced, take a handful of horse tranquilizers and forget this game happened.

Well, his first inning wasn't lights out, but it sounded like they rushed him out there. Are you enjoying the AB's? :)

Hey Spin, is Daniel Espinosa the real Danny?  I've been meaning to ask you.

I had strep throat more times than I can count when I was a kid.  It never knocked me out for more than two days.  What's FP talking about?

It's possible that we could sweep the Cubs, if Dempster falters.

Mon, Jul 4 @ Washington 1:05 PM Dempster (5-6) vs. Zimmermann (5-7)
Tue, Jul 5 @ Washington 7:05 PM Ortiz (0-0) vs. (?)
Wed, Jul 6 @ Washington 7:05 PM Wells (1-3) vs. Gorzelanny (2-6)
Thu, Jul 7 @ Washington 7:05 PM Garza (4-7) vs. Hernandez (5-8)

He kicked butt - so random to come in for the 2nd inning with guys on base.

We absolutely have to take 3 of 4 at the very least. And then if we can take 2 of 3 from Colorado it will be a 7-4 homestand. A sweep of Chicago and things are looking very good.

"Good throw?"

It was two feet over Ramos' head.
