Shouldn't this be "NCAA Football Thread (2011)" to stay with the naming convention?  Or has something changed (I don't follow college sports, there's still an NCAA right?)

ND's defense should be A LOT better this season. I have to wait and see who they choose to be the starting QB before I predict anything for the offense. Floyd should have another great season and be a top 15 pick next year.

I just can't wait until the season starts. College football is the best, IMO.

It's semantics, but the NCAA doesn't govern the championship at the FBS (formerly D1, which most people still refer to it as).

I'll be happy if UVA makes a bowl game this year.

Team is talented, but with no clear QB selected, as of yet... things will be tough sledding early on.

Same. My original plan was to wait till I went to college to support a team, but seeing as how I only have two Div-I schools on my list (three if you count Georgetown), that's probably not gonna happen. My main motive as a fan is the overthrow of the BCS - honestly, with a fair system, college football would be my favorite sport over the NFL.

Well it was a lot worse when I was there and they played the triple option and some of the football players were electrical engineers. Todd Graham made them practice and so the people hanging on to get scholarships for academics quit, and then they made a couple of bowl games.
