It will be up to Matt Stairs.

Something all Nats fans love to hear.

lmao, Pineiro was freaking terrible tonight and we only get 2 runs in 6 innings off him.

Same old lame ass offense. Can't come up with clutch hits

I would be cool with pinch hitting for him here.  It wouldn't cost us anything at all really.

Doesn't matter, still doesn't change the fact that it was a horrible call that could have cost us.
That's not my argument.

In the internet age, you can rescue any breed. I love showing her off even though I hate bragging. She's an incredible girl - so well behaved and sweet.

That means she's a poop huskie.   :D

Record actually means a great deal. I agree it isn't everything, but taken into account the Nats poor offense early in the season, I'd say he is having a great year.

Makes no sense why someone would trash him because he gave up 2 runs in this game.

He also has a ridiculously high run support compared to our other starting pitchers. I never said he's horrible and he is not, but we can afford to take a look at a couple of promising minor league guys with Strasburg coming back. No need to sign a pitch-to-contact, aging pitcher.

I've seen quite a few huskies at the NY Ave shelter.

spider i never saw your post you douche.

desmond's error has cost us the game so far.  but at that point in that game bernadina and the offense were the reason we were losing.  tonight, desmond's error, morse's double play and marquis walking four dudes and not being sharp has killed us.

but desmond's error is by far the worst thing that has happened.

Zimmermann's record is 5-6, he must be pretty mediocre...

Apparently you missed the rest of my post where I also provided his era. Or you just chose to cherry pick so you could make your comment.

Stairs to stay in the game against the lefty?! why?! it's the sixth inning, the only time you are going to PH for someone is with the DH spot up.

So dumb

NOW would be the perfect time for Stairs to hit his first home run of the season.

Laziest husky ever, she does nothing all day :lmao:

a-holes keep their huskies un-fixed because they think they can make cash off the purty puppies. That's how my puppy was made.

That's not my argument.

Nor mine.  Everyone's saying "it would be tied!"  When we have no idea whether it would be tied, or if instead, Joel Pinero would've finished the 6th.

I agree with what APBA said upthread in response to my original post.  "Cost us a chance..."
