WISH GRANTED!

(Image removed from quote.)

I never expected Marquis to be this effective when he first came here.
He's now 7-2.  Storen's 13th Save.

Marquis is the 2nd best pitcher on the team, hands down.

whenever I see the old padres uniforms, I always think of 3 players...Dave Winfield, Ozzie Smith and pitcher Randy Jones
I always think of Nate Colbert.

Didnt get to post this during the game.  But apart from the time that FP pointed out that Anthony Rizzo was peaking back at Ramos I saw him do it about 4 more times.  This really makes me mad, and I hope something is done about it later today.

2010 ended with such disappointment that it's hard to remember the Nats doing that well early in the year.

That was, in fact, our second win under Riggleman (3-1 at home over Mets, Stammen the winner) - the first had come the previous day (also over Mets, 4-nil)...prior to that we had dropped 11 of 12...a train-wreck that season truly was.
