So Chase Utley is OK in your book?

I'd take 9 Chase Utley's on the Nats.

We'd be a stud lineup 1-9.

He should.

Eighteen-year-olds play 'major league' tennis.   Eighteen-year-olds  (well, now 19-year-olds)  play in the NBA.    Sixteen-year-olds win gold medals in the Olympics.

Bryce is better than anyone else we have.   That's just the way it is.   The only reason why he is not playing in the bigs is because of $$$$$$$$$.

The one thing that is missing in all your examples is that none of them have a 100 MPH fastball coming at their head teaching you a lesson about respect in baseball. Thats what everyone is trying to say about growing up and being mature. Keep up with the antics and he will get a high hard one from a Veteran pitcher that will prove a point.

I've noticed him hit 91 a few times already tonight.  Better than his usual 89 I guess.

OK, this is my last Bryce 'kiss' comment.

Talk about immature.   Werth is not 18.  Werth is not in single A.

Werth pouts and says to reporters: "Some days I feel like talking and some days I don't."

Freak that!   Werth is an ass.    Harper probably has issues too.  I won't deny that.    But at least, so far, he's backing it up and (again so far) he seems open and honest about it.

We need to get Lincecum out of the game after this inning.  His pc is 89 already.

An 18 year old Jeff Skinner for the Carolina Hurricanes scored 31 goals this year and will probably win the rookie of the year in the NHL.

So now you are hating on Harper because he is confident and acts like a boss?

Not at all. Unlike most people here I have no problem with him doing what the freak he wants when he produces. But you know damn well you would want to kill a player for doing the same thing.

I'm in full agreement. I don't hate on players because of insignificant crap.

He'll never admit to that.

14 year olds play pro soccer as well.

They brought Freddy Adu up too young and ultimately it damaged his career.

I really like Desmond sometimes. I feel like he could be an above average SS for us.

You obviously never saw a Roscoe Tanner serve or a Bob Lanier hard foul on a player driving up the middle.     ;)

Yeah man, freak the critics. I don't care if Harper is the most hated man in MLB as long as he is whipping ass in a Nats' uniform :whip:

Desmond hurt himself on that steal.
