I am starting to agree with Dibble. He said the ownership spends a little money to put a couple trinkets on the field (Zim, Strasburg) while ignoring the team as a whole. The fact that Stairs is still here is damning evidence of this.

4 molars growing in at the same time plus a cold gives him good reason, but thank God he's in his own bed tonight.

Amen to that. My kid is oddly like the Nats... There's times he makes me want to pull my damned hair out, but at the end of the day, I love him to death and will start new the next day. I wouldn't kill for the Nats though... might pity a fool though.

I didn't have MASN last year and mainly watched games online with no audio.. can somebody fill me in on Dibble? FP took his job, right?

If Marrero could get a lot of playing time, I'd be all for DFA Stairs now and call up Marrero. In the end though, Marrero needs all the playing time he can get and he'll get that in Syracuse. Now what happens if Desi needs to miss time? He sure looked gimpy at the end.

He was loud, obnoxious, critical of the team etc... but the straw that broke the camel's back was the Strasburg business. Basically said Strasburg needed to man up and pitch through pain. Classic case of speak first, think later. He was entertaining though.

He was like having a fan in the booth.

He clapped and cheered when the Nats did well. Trashed the players when they did bad.

A lot of us enjoyed him ripping into the team when no one else in the media would.

He was fired for his comments on Strasburg.

and what a loss there :nono:

we lost.  there should be blame on all levels for this mess, yet you exclude some for some reason.

The Lerners Are freaking Cheap and the cheap product they keep trotting out on the field is showing. I don't know what it's going to take for some people to see what a joke this ownership is.

I'll be up at 2 am with a 1 year old, I'm sure

The benefit, assuming this is your first, is that you have learned to wake up, change a diaper, go back to sleep, and never notice.
