i wonder if you'll see a USA chant after the national anthem?

I hope not.   We chant USA too much (IMHO).    We need to act like we've been there before and hatch a plan to get el Zawahiri (sp).    This ain't a hockey game.    I'm just sayin' as an old infantryman.

If there's any acknowledgment at all, I hope everyone stands at attention with their heads bowed in honor of the dead (DC, NYC and PA) and the men and women who pulled this operation off.    Bless them all.

I really wish Baseball had more chants like Soccer (football) fans in Europe. The echoes of songs being sang throughout are chilling.

Latin American baseball is right up your alley.

The Japanese tend to do a lot of singing and chanting too, I believe.

it was always fun to go to Islanders games years ago when the fans would chant "1940" regardless of who the Isles were playing.

I guess it's "one in 61 now"?

Errrrm, I'll pass. I just like it when everyone in the stadium cheers and chants for their players. I mean sure "Lets go Ryan" would be cool but thats basic. Something a bit more complicated would be cool. I would think that as a player if you had your own crowd chant it would be pretty awesome. I may not like the Mets but the "Jose Jose Jose Jose" chant is the "closest" we have to one of those chants (even if it is as easy as replacing Ole with Jose).

I dont really mind having Bixler in the lineup.  To me its the same as having Alex Cora.  I bet they are regretting trading away Alberto Gonzalez right about now.
That's what I have been saying since they traded him. However , I looked up his BA and it is a whopping .179 at some point during this past weekend. Of course he would fit in with Cora , Hairston  and "0 for "Stairs. BTW , I was wrong about Nix making us sorry for keeping him over Bernandina or Morgan. He has played fairly well for us the first month.

For those of you who are at the game tonight or if you're already there, please read this from Darren Rovell.

we really need a leadoff hitter ... no slight to espinosa, i just don't think it's his role right now.

Rizzo has to address that problem if the team is going to go forward
