Fantastic catch.

Good defense bailing out Gorz on a couple of hits now

Gorz has a great rhythm going tonight. Low pitch count too.

A shame we have no runs. :?

It's a very fast-moving game.

Gorzo + the D doing their job

Now the bats need to pick up already

This game has a Danny Espinosa homer to win it written all over it

A good pitchers' duel, and some great defense too.

Less to talk about when the pitchers are mowing them down.

Damn.

Unreal, what a catch.

One baserunner in 6 innings :hang: Wasting Gorz's effort

Could this be the shortest game in Nats history?

Yeah I know...  more lamenting the general reduction in traffic lately...  how can interest be so low this early in the season when the team is treading water near-.500 without their star and almost no offense?

Then again, maybe I just answered my own question.

There's no positive energy with the team. Last year we got off to a similar start (a little better) and people were really into the team. RZ and the others were raking, the bullpen (Clippard, Capps, etc) were dominant. We were knocking off some good teams.

This year we are kind of just getting by. The pitching has been really good but not eyepopping. The offense has been really bad which is the biggest culprit. If a few guys started to catch fire this team suddenly becomes more interesting.

If Gorz doesn't go 9 innings, I want Riggs' head on a platter.

At least it's bearable to watch when the other team is not hitting either.

Seriously though, there's a lot of competing "media" now.

Still like it here best.
