Bottom 3 hitters are automatic outs. Having written that, I hope I reversed jinxed them.

I don't like the batting line-up and I didn't like it last night-Hairston and Cora shouldn't be batting next to each other- it should be LaRoche then Ramos then Hairston then Morse then Cora then Tom Gorze. ( I always think of Cheese when I see his name). The last part of the batting order has too many points of failure - Not Good....
Could be a set-up for an Epic Failure... :asplode:

I agree.  Let's break up potential chains of hits that could lead to runs to avoid crappy innings.  Moving baserunners > Scoring runs.

Good sign that Ramos is starting three games in a row.

Need a win here. Don't want to fall three games behind .500 yet.

You over-estimate Hairston and Cora - scoring runs and winning is the point -your sarcasm is noted, but ignored by me.
Potential chains of hits can be generated by the  sequence of hitters that I have outlined. Agree or disagree -your choice.
We had this line-up last night and we lost.  Yes, the defense was sloppy, but there also some problems with the hitting. There is nothing wrong with moving a few players around in the line-up to see if it will generate a hitting sequence- it is done all the time by managers.....and it is early in the season....best time to try.....in my opinion.......

Yeah and generally the managers move people up in the lineup who CAN hit.  That's kinda the point.
