if espinosa/ankiel get the job done we're up.

If Werth and Ramos didn't hit homers we'd still be down 3-1.

I doubt it. SF is a prisoner of the moment.

no way ... he just wishes Flores and Bernie were on the same team together right now ... that's why he has followed the Syracuse Chiefs more closely than the Nats this year.

Nah, that's the right one.

I don't understand, then.  It's not like hammonds said or implied anything about Werth or Ramos not getting the job done

Haha Hairston with not even warning track power.  Hit it OK though.

Young looks nervous about throwing his fastball now that we're hitting some line drives.  Maybe they did adjust and aren't getting underneath it every time now.

exactly.  all i said is espinosa/ankiel failed to do their job.  man on 3rd with 1 out and espinosa struck out.  then ankiel couldn't drive in the run either.

I must've missed it then, because I don't recall hammonds saying anything untowards about the Werth or Ramos ABs...

Young at 66 pitches.  1 ground ball out.  12 fly balls.  Crazy.

Do you even need to ask? I wish there was still a way to email the booth to let them know how sick some of us are about Crapenter's obvious love for the Cardinals.

he didn't but he seemed to be bemoaning "if" scenarios from the previous inning.

Anyone have change for a $20?  I went to the vending machine for a Pepsi, Ramos homer.  Go to the canteen vending machine for a sammich for lunch, and I get back and Werth has homered and Ramos has hit his second of the night.

most of their outs were pop/fly ball outs.  It was a matter of time before they figure it out and start whacking away.
