If anyone can tell me where Desmond's wife is, I'll go over there myself first thing tomorrow morning and induce labor.

I'm sure it won't make a difference, but I do believe this will be his first start since coming off the DL.

It'll be our first start since being embarrassed by Paul Maholm.  :|

The Yankees got blanked on only 3 hits by the struggling White Sox, so I feel a little bit better.  These things happen.

Wow, after watching this train wreck tonight, we just got compared to the Yankees.  I never saw that one coming.

ray ... maybe it's because our hitting coach sucks and our line-up isn't scaring anyone right now.

Ray Knight is ripping into the offense.  He said they're swinging at balls and taking strikes.  He doesn't know what their approach is.  And they don't make enough contact.

Then he pissed on Riggleman's contention that the "bats just haven't gotten untracked".  "When are they going to get untracked?", he said.  He says he used to say that as a manager but you keep saying that and then, all of a sudden you're 15 games under .500.  It's wishful thinking.

And he said Desmond said he has a lot on his mind but part of being a professional is clearing your mind and think only about baseball, at game time.

I haven't read the thread yet but I want you to know I'm disappointed in you guys.   I'm doing nights for awhile so my game watching is limited.   I snuck a peak before my pre-work nap.   I left you guys a 2-0 lead in the FIRST inning.   I'm driving to work and heard the score.   I almost spilled my beer.
