Since when do bad pitchers with poor control get every close pitch called for a strike? Hell, some of those pitches were way off

Both games where we've had a 9th inning rally going have ended on questionable called third strikes by the same umpiring crew.

On the bright side, I was expecting the game to end with the Nationals player on 1B being called out by the 1B ump for getting back to 1B - with NO throw at all from the Pirates' pitcher Hanrahan to 1B.
