@WoldFamousJon It's a joke from Ron Burgandys twitter account. Pump the brakes chief, by no means offending anyone.

Anyone have some good info on Nicholas Lee?

18th rounder in 2011 out of a JUCO in Texas seems to be doing well at Auburn.

He's an old 21 but in 26 IP this year his numbers are pretty good: 29 Ks, 7 BBs, 7 ER, 2.36 ERA & .211 BA against.

He had 9 ks in 5.1 IP last time out.

He's pretty small but he's a lefty.

Walters Twitter account is blocked except for his approved followers, so the original context is unavailable for most people, all we see is the joke which has now been re tweeted a bunch of times. Sad thing is that even his explanation is blocked for most people so his attempt at damage control is limited.

It seems we missed Sandy Leon, and still need Walters, Smoker, Lee . . . anyone else?  Any 2012 draft choices other than Giolito?

At one time, folks suggested Billy Burns. . .

My search skills are below average so it's entirely possible I just missed it.

Do we need to clarify that SS does stand for shortstop in his case?

Apparently we recently signed a former 1st round pick from 2006.  He's now 26 and has been pitching in the independent leagues.

Here's a scouting report on him from 2008 when he was a Cardinals prospect:  http://futureredbirds.wordpress.com/2008/01/16/prospect-profile-tyler-herron/#more-847

Take  a look at the first post and suggest players we should add to FTP.  We can then see if there are volunteers for threads.

If you have not done so, please update your threads for 2013 assignments (that is, add the team he is playing for this year to the first post).  I put Karns assignment in red.

Edit - thanks Mitlen.  Problem with making an error in a date is that you do not get a red squiggly under the error.  I agree - 2103 would have been a bit too speculative.

Glockypoo has set up a Krol thread and is going to put together one for Treinen.

Anyone else we should be covering?

Also, is there anyone who should be dropped off the master list either because he is not longer with the system or is not worth keeping up to date?

Generally, if I see someone is still active in the system but slips to page 5 or so in the list of threads, I'll do a quick check of recent stats and a google of news. I don't do this for all who slip, but for folks who are still A+ or higher and of serious interest due to being in a trade or a promising stretch of games in the past, I try to bump those.  for examples, I'll bump Michael Taylor or Sammy Solis but not Cutter Dykstra.
