weren't you complaining about the ump earlier in this game?
You can complain even if you don't have the right to.

Do you honestly think this team is fully engaged in this game?

Of course they are fully engaged in the game.  Hitting struggles do not constitute not being engaged.  In the past, I think the Nats have had years of "engagement" questions.  But this year, I dont think so.

Did you see/hear Matt Stairs' at-bat?

i haven't watched most of this game.  i thought gorzelanny pitched pretty well, but i didn't get to see the home run and i later found out he threw 108 pitches in 5 innings.

but from what i have seen the umps weren't the reason we lost today.

I love it when you hear the Press Box announcement in the background give the attendance and then as soon as he's done the radio guys say, "and today's attendance was...".  Gets me every time.

I am watching it.  He struck out.  Hes in a slump/not very good.  But being in the game as long as he has, I wouldnt question his "want-to".

Balester will quickly learn to throw strikes and get ahead of hitters or head back to AAA.

His fastball command stinks
