:lmao: Holliday said "81 mph fastball." and Livo said "It's not 81, come on, it's better than that."
What happened to Livo? He was awful before he came back to the Nats...was that his plan all along?

He played racquetball last off-season. The rest is history.

Does he still go to the movies at midnight prior to a start?

good sweep for us, starting pitching was the key, so was bullpen, great team win.

God, I wish I had been there instead of banging my head against buggy code until I got a migraine.

I want to apologize to everybody in here about the "difference of opinion" that Chief and I had earlier.  It shouldn't have never gotten that far. We're all Nats fans in here and want nothing but the best for 'em. We got a doubleheader sweep today!! Let's enjoy it.

Again, sorry about that.

GO NATS!!!

I apologize as well, and to you especially.  Just getting grumpy in my "old" age I guess :-[

I'm pumped for the next series, so we can REALLY put some space behind us and the Mets!

Dibble looking FRISKY...

I think that's from the time he and Knight got into it over fastballs during the postgame.

just got back from the double-header, aside from the kids getting on the screen during a break between innings, and the weather, the highlights were easily Espinosa, Marquis, and Livo.

A couple of notes:
- Werth seemed to spend the entire 2nd game on the railing, talking to everyone, going out to congratulate players as they came in, and often going over to talk to Riggleman.  I love Zimmerman, but it seems Werth is the leader of this club now.
- LaRoche's HR was reminiscent of the kind of bombs the other Adam used to hi
- Fantastic defense, no errors through 2 games
- Desmond looks so much more relaxed and confident hitting lower, his HR was a good sign
- Morse seems to be getting a bit more comfortable as well
- The crowd in 129 was awesome, far better than anywhere else I've sat in the park.  That is my new favorite section

Overall a great day of baseball, we should sweep double-headers more often!

Lets not forget that Milwaukee came in here on a little bit of a run before this weekend (won 7 of 8 ).  So, this sweep is pretty damn impressive.

#Nats sweep #Brewers, both in doubleheader and series. Wonder if Nyjer Morgan will remember this 3-game winning streak.
