This game seems as close to the Speigner/Santana matchup as I can remember. Let's hope for a similar shocking outcome. (But I wouldn't bet on it. :) )

I'd take that bet.
Do you think we trade Ramos and keep Flores or what?

Second. All in all he's been pretty good so far.

Did he have another bad play this game? I must have missed it. I've been in and out of the TV room.

Yeah he had a bad play in the field.

The interference I'm not sure was his fault - would need to see a couple of replays to determine who's at fault there.

Virginia?  He hasn't been on since the eighth.
No. But it does rhyme with VA.

Rizzo is on ESPN2 now.  Talking about when we'll be ready to contend.

Wait, let me guess...  2 more years?

Now Nix pops up first pitch and Espinosa swings at a first pitch curveball. Awesome at bats, guys.

Rizzo says Strasburg is in a long-toss program, will be throwing off a mound soon, and hopes to see him in 2011.

talking about Harper - Rizzo says the usual stuff - beyond his years, unlimited ceiling.  Close to finished product.  Was asked about CF, Rizzo said they'll have him working in all 3 OF positions with a concentration in CF and RF.

Freaking pathetic. Lead-off hit and they are out of the inning in no time.

Holy crap. Espinosa nearly impaled Halladay's head with that broken bat.

with a lead-off single no less. God awful, terrible approaches at the plate. Desmond freaked this team anyways. The offense is an embarrassment against Halladay, always.

going back to desmonds errors last inning ... first one was his fault and unacceptable.  he's the reason we're losing 1-0 (although our bats have been pathetic).

second one, i didn't get to see but i heard there was nobody covering 3b.

win anyway you can.

Seriously, someone will have to get killed before MLB does something about the maple bats.  I saw one go into the stands in San Fran on Monday and nail and elderly couple, fortunately they didn't seem to be hurt.

Nope. Norris will beat Ramos out.
