It's Nats 4 (Espy 3 run jack, Desmond solo shot), Beltran 3 (2 run homer + solo shot).

I'm glad he's rotting on my fantasy bench.

I'd rather take a Nats :w: though

  No harm done.

I'm very impressed with Gorzy tonight, he might be the best #5 guy in the National League.

The amount of fly balls Gorzelanny gets is pretty nerve racking, lol.

Btw, what do you guys think of the red alternates? I didn't like them at first but they're pretty slick. What is our home alternate now?

What's his pitch count? Our Pen needs rest so hopefully he'll last at least a couple more innings.

Awesome game if you can ignore the missed opportunities and Gorz dropping to his knees and putting on his best Basick for Beltran.:?

84, 54 for strikes
Pitches mount up when you strike out 7 guys

Thats the key, he's the #5 guy. The other guys need to go deeper, but  5 innings from the number 5 guy is ok.

Hopefully he's DFA'ed tonight and Corey Brown is called up.

I think he'll go 6 tonight, not bad at all for his first start of the season (especially considering he has been sitting on the bench for close to 2 weeks).

Unrelated item ...in AAA,  Collin Balester relieves Mock with the bases loaded in the 6th after Mock no -hits through 5 innings and K's the guy to get out of the inning. Bally finishes the next inning. His line-  1- 1/3 inning, 1 Hit, 1BB, 1K, 0.00 ERA.

You don't have to sell me on Bally...he's found his place, and will be a very good reliever for a long time to come.
