I'm nearly certain these will be the lineups, but they are not official yet.

I yearn for a day when Ramos will be starting more than 50% of the games. Enough with "respecting" the veterans, play the ones who can play the best. (Hello Laynce Nix)

DPM's got the game.   I'm chalking it up as a "W".

sounds a lot like the Marlins yesterday or the Twins when they saw Levalle Speigner or last year vs. the Giants and Luis Atilano popped up on the mound.  We're not going to count chickens here.

This.  Respecting the veterans sounds nice in theory, but what about respecting the fans, who spend their hard-earned money to see the best-performing players?

(I became an even bigger Ramos fan after I went to last Saturday's game.

They aren't OUR vetrans- if Pudge wants veteran respect, let the Marlins or Tigers do it

Morse and Espinosa hit homers today.  Pudge only one GIDP.  Desmond gets his first walk.  Znn only goes 6 again.

Nats win 7-3.

Who pitches the 7-9?

Clippard and Storen are probably off-limits. This game is in the hands of Gaudin and Slaten.. puke

If a 2-0 JMU is the new ace of the staff then I say DPMOmaha is our Jordan Zimmermann.

I'm taking credit for like a 1/4th of last night's win.

I really need some wins this year in Gameday threads.

Not really. Their payroll has consistently been about 2X the Nationals. Plus, they have 1.5 Billion in debt which means they spent a lot of money. Mr. Lerner would never be in that much debt because he would never spend that kind of money.

This is why so much of the LAC stuff seems ridiculous to me.  The Mets are an organizational disaster right now, shouldn't we be happy the Lerners aren't whatever the Wilpons are regardless of spending?
