Livan Hernandez.  Can't be any worse offensively than Nix.

I would love to watch Livan play the outfield. I have to say I am a little confused as to why everyone dislikes Nix so much. He had good numbers last year for the Reds and is better than Willie Harris and Kevin Mench.

Okay I changed my opinion since I remembered wrong.  May as well let him hit against Johnson since he owns another elite NL pitcher in Tim Hudson.

I wonder if we could get Adam Dunn's appendix to play first.

Plus, under the leadership of Nix, we have started with a better record than the RED SOX!!!

At this point, could it be worse than watching LaRoche bat?

In don't think there's anything worse than watching LaRoche bat.

I'm sticking by my 7-2 Nats victory prediction.

I'll probably abandon it sometime around the 4th inning... but for now, I'm feeling good about tonight.
Atta boy Linty. You are an honorary member of the Sunshine Squad for the day. But you have to stick with them until the last out.

On a non- important side note ;)... The Syracuse Chiefs bullpen ( 4 pitchers) went 4.1 innings of shut out baseball, 4 hits, O walks, 4 K's with Balester getting the save on 1- 2/3 innings of work and 2 K's.

Josh Johnson is beatable. We beat him last year with Matt Chico on the mound. If chico can do it, than Lannan can do it.
Another membership to the Sunshine Squad is bestowed on GMU.

Exactly.  Except they get paid more than SF does, and people, for some reason, take them seriously.
