Chicken-crap.  Didn't want to try to get to .500 in your GDT starts on the back of your boy Lannan?

Fun Fact of the Day:  John Lannan is the only Nationals pitcher to record a win this season.
Bonus Fun Fact:  That probably isn't going to happen again today because Josh Johnson is a freaking buzzsaw.

EDIT:  I'm seeing in the opening post stats that John Lannan doesn't have a win.  Am I wrong or is that wrong?

I'm sticking by my 7-2 Nats victory prediction.

I'll probably abandon it sometime around the 4th inning... but for now, I'm feeling good about tonight.

Yeah I'm right.  Why is Lannan listed as 0-0?

Oops, I didn't think he went long enough last time to get the win

Baseball Reference credits him with the win.

hell we've hit the fish starting pitchers pretty well the last few days and have been able to get on base ... it's just driving in runs and squandering opportunities.

maybe someone will get a hold of a JJ offering and we'll get a couple homers.

that ERA is higher than I thought.  we've gotten some doubles off him, so maybe we'll square up and hit a few dingers.

i hope linty's gut feeling is right.

Sure Johnson's a great pitcher, but those stats also say he must have had some decent run support, because 3.27 era isn't exactly shutdown pitching.

Wow, 0 HRs in almost 100 ABs? This should be a fun one tonight, particularly since I have a feeling we will see John Lannan of old popping his ugly head out at us.

No he went long enough.  They brought him back out after the hour-long rain delay and he pitched the fifth.

Yeah, I realized that after montero pointed it out.  The rain delay had my memory a bit clouded.
