FYI, the Chiefs game is on the MLB Network tomorrow morning, 10:30.  Yes, 10:30 AM

Bloxom guy is heating up for the P-Nats. Past 10 games .359/.357/.564 (not counting tonight, he has a triple in his first AB).

There's a gigantic spider on the camera lens of the Chiefs game.

A hand just swatted it between innings.

Where would Antonelli play?  Can he play 3B?  Does he have experience in LF?  If he can play 3B, he might be an upgrade to Hairston/Cora.  Those two guys have been pretty steady, though.  .250ish average with good defense is OK for backup/utility guys.

Any Tyler Moore love out there?

In 220 AA ABs: 16 Doubles, 3 Triples, 12 HRs, 31 RBIs, 7 BBs, 53 Ks

.291/.320/.555 (.875 OPS)

His OBP and SLG are identical to what they were last year in A+ ball. His BA is 20 points higher.

This is what you want from your typical mashing first base prospect. Loads of power, high BA. Would obviously like to see him walk more but he is never going to be that type of high OBP guy. Still he's got potential to be a starter for this team at 1B in a few years.

Detwiler will pitch a no hitter, mark my words (at least through a batter or two!)

it's the walks that are killer, but the other numbers are nice.

Sounds like he'd be a perfect Utility guy for us. Why would he not be on the roster over crappy Bixler?

Matty A with another base hit ... another multi hit game.  i can't remember how many he's had, but it's been a lot.

 Marrero is so ready.  He has such quick bat speed.  Some of the quickest in the organization.

2 ER in 6 IP against one of the best AAA line-ups isn't terrible.  He should have another inning left.

He doesn't look good. Throwing 87-89 in the 7th inning.

His stuff/command has deteriorated worse every year.

I saw him a few years ago pitching in Potomac in the playoffs and he was a flamethrower from the left side. Touching in the low to mid 90s blowing the ball by hitters. He was dominant.
