Being "liked" around here is temporary, with the turn-over we've had, you can be liked one season, resented the next, and completely forgotten within a year.

I meant by the boys in the dugout. He and Frank had a vibe going. I also liked when he was going to murder Pedro with a bat.

I meant his teammates as well, with the average length of service with the Nats being about two years, I'm sure that the clubhouse atmosphere is unique with each new year.

But Jose and Frank were a matched set, they wanted to win ballgames more than make friends.

Bergmann's contract voided because he showed up with an injury. Ouch, that's rough.

Wily Mo may be back in the show. He's in the mix for a bench role.

Ed, it seems you're picking and choosing stats to make the former guys look bad.

No, not at all I just looked at what they have done and what might have stood out in their numbers.  If I was doing that would I have put that Milledge has 5BBs, Orr 3-3Bs, Nieves hitting .350, Harris .345, Schneider 2HRs or Bruney for god sakes with an 1.80ERA and a save?

I guess you're right. I deleted the post because I didn't want to start a stupid argument.

Milledge is sporting a cool .845 OPS this ST. I hope for our sake that he doesn't turn it around with the White Sox.

You should know me better than that.....ripping anyone(Nyjer pushes me) who makes the bigs not really my style.

For every run Lastings creates he will let one score.

That's why I deleted it... I knew there was no malice on your part, so why start a stupid argument over something you didn't even mean? :)

I heard on WFAN-radio that he will stay a back-up(2B,3B,LF,RF) with Hairston/Duda/F. Martinez filling in at RF for injured Beltran.

Would you believe that Morse and Langerhans have had similar value since the trade?

Morse - 1.8 WAR
Langerhans - 1.3 WAR

Good for Willie if that happens.  Where would he play though?  In RF if Beltran is hurt?  They have Pagan and Bay in the other 2 OF spots.

How does Milledge playing well hurt the Nats in any possible way?
