Anyone going up to Pittsburgh on Saturday for the weekend series? I'm still considering doing what I did last year, making it a one day trip, drive up Sat afternoon and come back Sat night. Should be better than last year since the fireworks and concert delayed my leaving by another hour, hour and a half... Didn't get home until 4:30am, 2:30-3am is much more reasonable. I'll see what the weather will be like and how I feel Friday, and then go on Stubhub.

I've actually been thinking about it.  Went two years ago and had a blast.  PNC Park is spectacular and they have a deal that includes seats and all-you-can-eat concessions (hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, ice cream, pretzels, peanuts, salad and soda) for $35.  It looks like my brother might bail on me, but I'm set on going if at all possible.

Planning to be in TBSITH for all seven fixtures of the upcoming homestand, although weather could conceivably play a part (Yahoo! Weather currently predicting 30-50% chance of rain/thunderstorms for all three Mets matchnights and Sunday).

...home or away, the Nats just can't catch a break from the weatherman (although they did beat it out of St Louis in the nick of time).

I'm there.  First game of the year.  Using the season tickets.  Is there an unofficial spot in the Red Loft for WNFFers?  That picture what you look like?

Wednesday - maybe, can't make the first pitch, but I have some friends going, so I might buy a cheap ticket and meet up with them mid-game.
Friday - big group of co-workers going, we're looking at seats in the scoreboard area, waiting for the weather report before committing on the purchase.
Saturday - taking the wife and kids to get our umbrellas, also waiting for the weather report before purchasing.

Too many steps for an old guy?  There is an escalator around the other side.

My next ticket is for the 28th.  Yes, there's an escalator to go up toward Red Loft.   You just have to find an escalator or elevator a little further around the concourse to get either further up or down.

One can get to any level via escalator or elevator.  For those pining away for the ramps of RFK, there are ramps on the outside of the park first base side looking out over the scenic Anacostia

I resemble that remark.
Nothing personal, just that, when the game is on, I'm mostly in my seat, its just my habit, I like to get in place about 5 minutes before the bring the colors onto the field.

We mostly meet up before the games, not during.  Sure, your seats are a batting practice homer magnet, but the overall vantage point from the Loft is superior.  I head to my seat about 5-10 minutes before first pitch.

Yea, but I leave those for the visitng fans. I try not to make it to the park until about 5 minutes before the first pitch.
The loft is where I had my seats the first year the park was open, great vantage point.

I'll try to spot you maybe 20- 30 minutes before.  I'll be wearing a blue "DC" logo hat and a gray 2004 World Series Champ tee shirt.  Must maintain my split loyalties.  I'll aim for the CF end of the Scoreboard.

Anyone else going tonight?

Ha, I wish!  I did, however, get a job offer from NORML when I first moved here.
