Three hits in ten innings. Eleven hits in 37 innings. WTF? This is not how you want to end a season. And end the season with such poor offense knowing you will lose your best offensive guy on top of it. Next year is starting to look bleaker and bleaker. Put Zimmerman and Willingham back in but take Dunn out and you're about even. Unless we make a couple huge offensive, not defensive, signings, this is a really bad sign. I can just see Penas Mendoza line BA really improving things. Maybe two hits a game instead of three. And Jesus, the number of Ks we had was embarrassing. To lose his game against nobody Mets, limit them to one run in 9 innings, four hits total? You cannot lose that game. Not after getting 8 hits the entire series against Philly. You just can't lose this game. And we did.

On another note, Zimmermann was freaking awesome. Back to what he should be doing. Awesome way to go into next season.
