Is this one of the 10 run first innings again?

Isn't the umpire a part of the field?

For some reason, I actually held out hope that we could take the first two games of this series and FINALLY have a four game win streak, made all the better because it would be against two teams competing for playoff spots.

Silly me.   :'(

If they are in front of the infielders  then the ball is dead when it hits him and the run scores.

Anyone blaming this on the pitcher isn't watching the game.  HOF defensive catcher is calling for pitches that go against the defensive positioning.  Manager is positioning the defense against the strength of the pitcher.  Dribblers up the middle should be DP balls but defense is not where it should be.

Not worse than the Milwaukee inning.  He actually made pitches to get out of this inning.

I can't believe how bad this organization is.

We as fans don't deserve this crap.  We are the whipping boys for the nl east.

[potomac cannons] what are you talking about dude we have improved on the last two seasons and we have a minor league team in the playoffs and we continue to spend on the minors and we won't lost 100 games and we are on our way.  You are a (cuss word) just like sf, minty, etc.  I am always right. If the ball doesn't hit the umpire Marquis is out of the inning with that Double play ball giving up only 3 runs. Go figure!

The Atlanta Braves would politely disagree.
