Got a foul ball- my first ever.  Had to fight two big guys for it, and sliced my thumb open on the seat.  Gave it to a co-worker here at her first major league game.

Did you get a ball for Mrs. Terp?  How about the young Ms. Terp?

I'd be one jealous Terp family member right about now...

Just a really disappointing series.   Every time it looks like we are going to go on a run, we implode.

because we don't have enough offensive weapons.

maya was so-so last night.  you can see he has some decent stuff, but he's not a frontline starter, imo.

You're in for the Fantasy League right?

We draft at 7!

All I do all is post at WNFF while I'm at work! I'm sure you can run a draft!

 That's so specific! Maybe they were looking for alternate meanings of "fantasy section."

I think it can block some things on the fly.  Like looking at scores is OK, but it can pick up fantasy sports games.  I also can get to Uncensored on this board, but I've had a specific thread get blocked for "Provocative attire and or nudity"  And no, it wasn't the BWT.

:lmao: Remember we had this conversation?  Where would I proxy from?  Ones I find on google are blocked.  And I couldn't get my Mac to accept SSH connections to tunnel.  I should have tried on my PC, since I have been running a ventrilo server, but too late for that now.

If you can follow these directions I might be able to set you up with a server by 7pm.  PuTTY is Win-only but you're dual-booting right?

I'm already at work.  But yes, I use Windows at work.  And I have PuTTY already.

So then if all those steps work and you know how to set the proxy in your browser, I can probably help you out.  After all, all you need is a server to connect to.  Yes?

I wasn't trying to imply you couldn't do those things, my manner is more just force of habit from working in IT

I haven't done it, but yes, I'm assuming I just ssh in putty and put in the appropriate info in Firefox's proxy settings.  I just never had a server with which to try it.

Nope, gave it to a young woman that works in our dept, who was at her very first MLB game, and really enjoying it.  Getting the ball was a real big deal to her, she was so happy with it.  Someone else bought her a display box, and she's going to display it at her cube.  Now, if I could only get a Livan autograph on it....

They were selling Ryan Wagner autographed balls for $5, $10 without the autograph.

Even if the result wasn't what was wanted...it was still a proper afternoon of baseball. I still miss the RFK days when we had several weekday afternoon matches each season.

He was all over the joint this morning, needed a Rick Eckstein and had no problem getting it.

What the hell is wrong with Storen?  He's been terrible of late.
Storen's traditional stats were always kind of deceiving... I knew it was only a matter of time before he started giving up more runs.  That said, I think you're being overly critical.
