Morse has missed 4 homers in the last two games by not pulling or going the other way with the ball.

No kidding.  A block of lights in the sign went dark when Zimm's shot hit it square.

Now, Morse drills another shot off the wall.  I think he's figuring out this righty thing.

Knight just said Morse was having a Jayson Werth type breakout.

Where have we heard that before?

Really starting to like Ray after the constant bluster of Dibble.  Ray knows when to be mad, actually thinks things through, and seems to genuinely care how the team does without being an insufferable homer.

Yeah, I can actually listen to these games. Definitely an upgrade.

Unlike the two boobs who have spent the year in the booth, Ray actually knows baseball.

Charlie and Dave about a second ahead of the telecast.  Why didn't I try this before tonight?
Too bad radio coverage sucks.  I can't get the station near me well at all, and the streaming audio from the MLB site is a good bit behind.

Im listening to the auidio from MLB.com.  I really dont think its that far behind.  Maybe like 10 seconds, which isnt that bad i suppose.

Got to give it to Riggles for the lineup shift.  It is working.  Now if we could get anything out of the catcher's spot.

Stanton is on an 0-29 or something like that.

His last hit was Aug 13.  At least 0-49, but could be 0-51 now.

3rd   R Zimmerman homered to left, A Gonzalez and R Bernadina scored.

Nationals  4
Marlins     1

I'm not too surprised, given his last few outings.  It's clear he's healthy again and just now performing to specs, which would be as a #3-4 starter.

I never have subscribed to the exceptionally popular theory that you judge a player based on how he plays when he's hurt.  Put a lot of faith in the pre-DL time, as it were.   :?

I'm getting it through the MLB site, but the telecast over satellite which has a bit of a delay to it so it matches up pretty well.

Could be extra delay since I stream over my iPhone.

Bonifacio singles, and Marquis wasn't immediately released?  WTF is up with that?

Problem is, the league is full of Nat killers.  Kind of hard to avoid them.
