We're going to need more runs, I fear.

Are you kidding?  Ron Darling is tremendous, Dibble cannot even hope to be on Darling's level.
Darling was awful or maybe it was because he was paired with Mel Proctor.
Ron Darling is a Mets homer anyway, I see no way he would come to DC.

Well I wasn't a Nats fan back then so I never heard him, but I've heard him on the Mets games and their whole announcing trio is outstanding, really my favorite to listen to in baseball.

 Keith Hernandez is a sexist pig.

Did you see what he was saying after the zoomed in on him following the catch?  He was acting real pissed, and said "that was some darn bullcrap...."

Then he threw the ball into the stands and hit some guy!
That deal sounds a little fishy to me.

Is this a joke? If it is then nevermind but if it isn't   That dude stumbled through words and made tons of grammatical errors. He sounded like a moron most of the time. One night he said the word "pissed" during the broadcast.  :lmao:

Are we sure Knight even wants that job? I have no idea of his personal situation but it might be possible that he doesn't want to be away from home for 81 games. Doing the pre and post game show allows him to be with family.
IDK.  I'm just saying I'd much rather have him than Dibbs.

I maintain that the fans MUST have said something totally out of line, or it was an accident.

If I was married to Nancy Lopez, I'd never leave home (sorry Ray).

I thought it would be the exact opposite.   :spaz:

LOL I have no idea what his history is (although didn't he have to onetime say he wasn't gay, or is that some other Met?) but he's awesome too IMO
At least I've never heard him make fun of female fans who he's sure would rather be shopping  ;)

He flipped out and said a woman had no place in the dugout and that she needed to get the hell out (she was a trainer and had every reason to be there at the time). It was shocking.

Like I said I didn't listen in 2005, he must have improved greatly because I can't stand people who sound like idiots on air and Darling never has, not when I've heard him anyway.

Flex plan tickets don't count toward attendance totals (Charlie Slowes said it once).

The fan that got hit wasn't even razzing Nyger. He just got hit. The other fans around him were getting on Nyger really bad. The usher even said something to the fans to " Cool it" even  before it happened. The guy that got hit won't press charges and hopes Nyger gets out of the suspension.

Ralph Kiner isn't stupid but his speech is affected, I think he has a palsy. He's a big time homer. though.

I know he had a coach so he may have improved but he was really bad in 2005. Also, maybe having an extra man in the booth helps to cover for him.

How shocking!     Dude you're a freaking chick.  :?

That's the guy's account, but should be taken with a HUGE grain of salt.
