It's really ugly watching a team that's completely checked out...with a month left in the season.  :icon_frown:

I don't know if it's a good or bad thing that tonight seemed like an incredible game following last nights cluster. Of course, that's only in reference to the score and hit discrepancy. This team is playing with as little energy and passion as last night, and Riggleman needs to come to task for this lethargic play style very soon. This is unacceptable, and night after night of saying they played their hearts out is getting ****ing old. Take it from someone who is here, none of these guys are giving much effort.

So Pudge has already been voted into the Hall of Fame?  I thought they had to wait 5 years after he retired?

It's sad.  And having to listen to Pudge being referred to as "the future hall of famer" a bazillion times a night like it means he is still a good player is maddening.  He was good, he's really not anymore, no matter if he's headed to the Hall of Fame or not.

Riggs did call the guys out for their effort last night.

I'm sure we'll be hearing the same BS while Ramos rides the pine in September.

It's been that way since 2006 so we should be used to it after 5 seasons.
