Now that Marquis had a good start and Lannan blows, the silence will deafening.

Soriano hits a 3-run homer for houston-nat's birthday.
WAIT!  He doesn't play for us anymore!

Bob "Lannan has been pumping the strikezone the last few games"

Really? Lannan had like 8 out 16 3-0 counts last game, right?

You have to give Carpenter a break considering he probably has MLB extra innings on his laptop and probably spends most of the games keeping an eye on the Cardinals instead of the Nats.

Dude are you okay?  Lannan since coming back from > marquis all year.

Give it a rest.

His 2nd inning was so bad I turned the game off after the homer. SF's "batting practice" pitcher came to mind. Sucktastic.

Oh so lannans 2-2 pitch wasn't a strike, but zambranos 3-1 pitch was?

This team misses desmond so bad.

Kennedy is a good #2 hitter. Hammonds=sportsfan, I'll say it since I'm guessing Cannons was baned.

WHY.

Why swing at the first pitch like that?

Why do you swing at the first pitch after a walk?

Alberto singled and scored. How could Desmond have done anything better?
