This team can't get it together - when our starters suck our bullpen is great.  Now, the last two nights our starters have been great and our bullpen sucks.  Sigh....

Scott olsen wasn't great last night

Sportsfan882 was right again.

Not even close. For eight and half innings we were in the game.

Olsen went 5 last night and then fell apart.  That's not great.

Compared to the rest of our starters he was.

But he had a fiery temper tantrum for getting pulled.

Definitely rooting for the Cardinals, Reds, and Padres to all make the postseason.

But it  would be sweet to see the Braves choke again at home in the playoffs.

Good call.

Rooting for the Reds and Padres.  Hope St. Louis burns to the ground.  Another ridiculous run to the playoffs by Colorado would be great as well.

Clippard is so damn bad. He's been awful for months. We need a new bullpen next year.

I'd choose the Braves over the Phillies anytime

Yea, let's definitely dump Burnett, Storen, and Peralta while we're at it.

God you're dumb sometimes.

Peralta is minor league trash.

I'd keep Storen and Burnett and that is it. Everyone else can freak off

How sweet would it be for the Phillies to fail to make the postseason, the Braves go to the NLCS vs. the Padres...lose a heartbreaker to lose the series (preferably at home). And the Yankees lose someway.

And then the Twins win the WS.

Would be awesome.

The Braves are now 44-16 at home and 22 games over .500 overall.
I don't know why people are so shocked that they beat us the last 2 nights.

Don't know why mclaren didn't bring in storen over clippard.  Its a moot point...kennedy/morse need to catch that ball then we go through a save situation.

See a post of mine from earlier in the season. He would need to flame out in historic fashion to be above 4 ERA with the start he had.

I remember that post. He's been so damn consistent.
