I think he should sit this one out... don't want him getting sick :)

Your concern for his well being is quite touching, brings tears to the eyes.

If he sits, most likely Bonifacio will play CF, Ross RF tonight.  Boni for Stanton, does that count a substitution?  Will the Marlins have to forfeit for only having 8 ball players on the field?

Boni always kills the Nats.  In fact all the Marlins do.  Amazing.

For those planning on going tonight: Capital Weather Gang's NatCast says 'mild with a stray shower' and 20% chance of rain, but Yahoo! Weather sticking with 50% chance prediction...plan accordingly.

At least if it does open up and they have to tarp the infield the attendance shouldn't be that big so there should be plenty of room on the concourses to sit out the rain.

Won't have to worry about Boni; Stanton is in the lineup.

http://natsinsider.blogspot.com/2010/08/willingham-has-meniscus-tear.html

Quote
Josh Willingham has a torn meniscus in his left knee, an injury that has been hampering the Nationals left fielder since early in the season but hasn't kept him out of the lineup until the last two days.

Willingham is hoping to play out the season without having surgery, and manager Jim Riggleman said he intends to put the 31-year-old back in the starting lineup tomorrow night against the Diamondbacks. Willingham pushed to play tonight, but Riggleman said he preferred to err on the side of caution.

So, so predictable. Just rest him for the rest of the freaking season. Jeez, he's been horrible!! And now we find out what we knew all along, he's injured and not just a minor one either.

Good news is that it only appears to be one heavy band that's passing the stadium right now.

I'd imagine a 30-60 minute delay and then they'll probably get things going.

This may not be news to others (I haven't been around much lately) but K-Rod was arrested for allegedly assaulting his father-in-law in the clubhouse after a game  :?

There's a football game on tonight but it's in Baltimore so even that game may be impacted by the downpour.

Willingham to be back in the lineup tomorrow.

Great news!  Glad to see he's not hurt as bad as what was reported.

Any one know what's going on?  I've got the O's on MASN and nothing on MSN2.  I'm assuming there's a rain delay but wondered if the game had been cancelled due to the extreme weather.
