And Willie actually gets a hit! Will wonders never cease? And it actually matters. Two on, no out, down by three with a PH and then the top of the order. Of course I should remember what team I'm rooting for here, we don't have a shot the way these past two have gone.

Desmond.

He was on a roll earlier in the season wasn't he?  :lmao:  Our boys all go on hot streaks and get cold at the same time. They're all on the same juice cycle.  :?

If someone was juicing... they'd use HGH and not worry about drug test anyways.

How about your first home homer of the year, Ralph?

Like I said, we didn't have a prayer. What other team is guaranteed to hit into a DP after such a promising beginning, knocking out the SP and no outs? Sigh, why I even bother staying here as it approaches midnight, I have no idea.

That's two sac flies the team has taken away from Bernadina because they couldn't move the runners over.

Unless he's afraid he might be sent down to the minors.

Sadly its a team built off of three hitters.

You have to have more if you want to be a competitive major league team.

Straight fastball... and a line drive.

Use your two seamer, slider and cutter, Craig!

Three hitters, a 22-year old rookie, and a 38-year old, almost-done 84-mph fastball pitcher.

Just noticed on the out of town scoreboard in the outfield, we are the last game in the majors tonight. Pretty unusual feat, theres usually always one west coast game when we have a crazy rain delay. Last game for the last best team is fitting at least.

When I was there tonight I saw tops 5 Marlins shirts. Must've been hiding.
