He's expanded his zone significantly this year.  Note the drop in walks.

That stunk.

You could see it in Dunn's eyes right before Nolasco threw that pitch. He knew he was cooked.

:lmao:

The camera never left the mound.

Apparently ASSCLOWN has super vision that could see into Dunn's eyes.

He's in the stadium crouching in the dugout.

6-3, a quality start.

So, what happens if he ends up 7-4, does that undo the previously earned QS?

What game are you talking about?

But yes, any game where you give up more than three earned runs does not end up a quality start.

Yes it would.  Even at 9-4, with a better game ERA, he'd still lose the QS.

Since I'm in the front row behind our dugout... I thought I heard someone yelling "Elijah, where are you?" Glad it wasn't just my imagination.

This one, of course.  Livan's pitched 6 innings, 3 runs.  If he quit now it's a QS.

What if you go 9-4, is that a QS?  That's better than a 6-3, more innings with a lower ERA.

I'd love for the Nats to sign Lee.

It'd make my day.

OH. I thought you said the score was 6-3.

No, anytime you go over three earned runs in a game, no matter how many innings you go... it no longer counts as a QS.

What's worse is Harvey Haddix losing a perfect game in he 13th.

This front office is constantly trying to sign an "innings eater".  Wouldn't it be nice to get one who's actually good?

True but you cannot yield more than 3 runs and still be credited with a QS. That only illustrates the futility of the stat. It's only meant to give pitchers credit for doing as little as possible.
