Lol, I actually got some younger kids in my section repeating my shouts of throw the cutter, Craig a minute ago, having no clue what I was doing. Too funny having these ten year olds screaming that at Stammen.

Why is Stammen still in the game?

Only positive thing I can say for actually being at this game, and staying the whole time... There won't be any traffic getting out of here. What an abysmal night, game and series. Just horrible. And Jesus, Mench is about the worst runner I've seen. He makes Dmitri Young look like he has hustle.

To be fair, if Pudge would have at least tried to get the "wild pitch" Stammen wouldn't have given up a run in an inning and a third.

It was a wild pitch. 3 hits and 3 walks in 1 and 2/3 innings is not the catcher's problem. The wild pitch was after Stammen loaded the bases. In the end, he yielded 2 ERs over 44 pitches in 1.2 innings, compared to Livo who only yielded 3 in 6.1 innings. Stammen has skills, but it fascinates me how he gets hyped, especially by certain reporters, as being deserving of a rotation spot, while an experienced veteran who has been delivering all season is so often not even mentioned as being in the mix going forward. I really don't know where all this pitching that Stan Kasten keeps talking about is hiding, but he has certainly convinced a lot of the reporters that it has arrived. I'm excited to see it. Must be around somewhere, but it's been well masked by the band of AAA hurlers we've been showcasing.

Well, at least it didn't take long to get home. Of course, driving home I thought how could it possibly get worse than this. Then I remembered what AA bum we have pitching tomorrow. Well, at least tomorrow night they'll have fireworks. About the only thing I have to look forward to going tomorrow night after these last three nightmares. Worst of all, they have all been three hour games, with to tonight the longest of all, three hours twenty minutes or so after the two hour rain delay.
