Another four seam fastball, another base hit.

He's got to junk that pitch. It's not working.

Ever wanted to know what a simulated game sounds like? Watch this game.

Dead quiet.

Seriously, it's depressing just to watch, I can't imagine how the players feel.

CWS in a nose dive.

Jenks got hurt tonight. They might have lucked into getting him out of the closers role.

Yeah, it's eerie. Really, really, really freaking eerie in the park right now. Almost the quietest its ever been. You can hear the radio broadcast from the speakers in the concourse about two feet from the dugout. That's amazingly quiet if you aren't familiar.

Two-seam fastball... strikeout.

It's not rocket science, Craig!

Anyone pickup the "alright Sportsfan"? Best I could do two feet from the players without looking totally nuts. Let's go wnff or ass clown doesn't have the same minimally crazy ring to it.

I'm shocked they called that a wild pitch.

Pretty clear Pudge made no attempt to stop the ball. That's called being lazy. That's called a passed ball.

Stammen doing a nice job of showing why he doesn't deserve a job in a big league rotation. Perhaps he should try not sucking before complaining about a job in the pen when he'd be on a perpetual minor league bus tour with any other franchise.

Well, that will piss Nunez off.  Now, unless the Nats score 1 to 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th, he can't blow a save.

Yeah I thought the exact same thing, seemed like a not too difficult ball to get if Pudge put a bit of effort into it.

Charlie and Dave were excusing the hell out of it.

Go for the gold and yell "Spidernat has a choad" or something, Coladar. It's after 10pm, no FCC worries.

Stammen is such a disappointment. So much talent but it just hasn't come to fruition. So much potential :|

To be fair, if Pudge would have at least tried to get the "wild pitch" Stammen wouldn't have given up a run in an inning and a third.

Thank you.  I think he's done a great job in a short time since switching roles.

Yup. few things that I hate watching more than a pitcher who has good stuff but fails mentally.

If Pudge doesn't whiff on a fastball, Stammen has a scoreless outing so far.
