Ubaldo Jimenez got his 17th win today a 6-1 win over SF. Did you know that the Nationals 5 Starters (Hernandez/Stammen/Olsen/Lannan/Detwiler) right now added together have only 16 wins. Would
you trade all 5 for Jimenez?
Tough one. Consider that the Nats would have Strasburg and Jimenez, followed by Chico, Atilano (when he's back from IR), Martin (when he's back from IR), and, ummmmm, three or four other guys even worse than Martin and Atilano.
Of course, Zimmermann might come back, and might be as good as people hope. That's a couple of "might"s. That would be three first-class starters, plus Chico and Shairon Martis. No, hold it, Maya should be in the majors in about three weeks. Could be four respectable starters.
OK...I talked myself into it. Yes. Do the deal!
