He had a terrible at-bat and didn't do a thing to get the run in from third with less than two outs.

Nevermind, I agree there. Just thought it was a good location to hit opposite side for him. Pudge was safe but yeah, def should've got a hit.

I just got back from walking my dogs and I saw the smallest fox I have ever seen. This fox looked smaller than my Beagles.   I didn't think foxes that young could be out on their own. He/she saw my Beagles and got the hell out of dodge though.

I'm not saying he should of gotten a hit... but he's got to get the ball in the air at least.

I just walked my dog, and barely avoided a skunk. No kidding. In Manhattan. A large family of skunks in Ft Tryon Park, always out at night chewing into garbage bags. "That black cat with the white spot isn't a cat!"

Livo should go the whole game. Set the tone for the rest of the starters.

Last summer we had several foxes in the neighborhood. We walked up on a skunk one night and by the time I realized it one of my dogs had tried to pounce on it and you know what happened.  :?

Shouldn't the Nats give Livan a raise right now, sign him for two more years? Not that he can throw like Strasburg, but Hernandez can pitch.

I doubt any team will sign Hernandez for two years. He will probably play out the rest of his career on one year deals.

Yeah, this. but hey, who knows. He could be in the majors for 10 more years as a LR.

Thought Hammer was going to get it.

Close, though.

Depends on the health/recovery of the rest of the staff.  I'd like to see him in that LR/emergency starter role next year if he'll agree to it.

If he is willing to keep signing 1 year, 900K deals, what's the incentive for Rizzo to re-sign him for anything more?

"Why buy the cow when you get the milk for 900K?"

A two-run lead is too small to go to defensive substitutions with six outs to get.

Riggleman with classic Riggleman over managing.
