He had a total of 8 in his career back in '06. Maybe it is someone else, but that's my guess.
Manny?

If John goes 6 innings and only gives up 2-3 runs I would say he is on his way back.

63 pitches, 41 strikes for Lannan.

[tomterp alert] Ryan Church traded from Pirates to Arizona. [/tomterp alert]

4th   R Zimmerman doubled to right center, R Bernadina and I Desmond scored.
ZIMMERMAN TIES UP THE GAME!

Phillies     2
Nationals  2

Was going to say that Desmond could someday break some error records, but some dude named Herman Long had 122 in a season.

If he comes off the bag to make the catch, how is that better than Desmond knowing he should just hold onto the ball?  It would have been one base either way.

Yeah but after the ball has been thrown he should still come off the bag and save the extra base.

As of June 2009, Long holds the Major League record for most errors in a career, with 1,096 errors made over his seventeen year career. Only three other players have made more than 1,000 errors in their careers: Bill Dahlen, Deacon White, and Germany Smith. This includes a record 1,070 errors committed while playing shortstop.

WISH GRANTED.

Her term expires in October 2010.
The Nationals should fly her in for the first game of each Phillies home stand.
