No matter the outcome it's nice to ramp up the pitch count on Volquez.  We've gotten into their bullpen 2 days in a row and that can only help if we can run Volquez out by the 5th.  Splitting this series would be a great result after the way things looked 14 innings in.

Indeed.

A 3-5 record heading to Milwaukee with a chance at a .500 road trip would be really sweet.

What blinders? Stupid play deserves to be criticized. I'm glad he got the job done, but swinging at the first two pitches of a guy that just walked the bases full is a terrible approach at the plate.
