So today was our 4th (FOURTH) appointment with these people, and when they did finally show up (late as usual) they tell us that they don't have a tall enough ladder to do what they need to do.

If they're not singing a different tune before the end of the day, I'm going DirecTV.  This is just absurd.

Chief, I went with Satellite years ago, and have never regretted it, at least didn't until it became clear that Dish Network wasn't carrying the Nats anytime soon.

Cable companies have an institional arrogance and contempt for their customers that is astounding.

The best thing about Comcast is reliable service (doesn't break up in storms like satellite), and video on demand. I also like that I can add extra tv's with analog service for no additional charge. The worst thing, as I have found out over a painful two years, is that adding a channel not in kahootz with Comcast is almost impossible until they are forced to add it.
