But he's already been doing that a lot more this year.  If you check the pitch F/X, it was a VERY marginal pitch.  I agree it would've been nice to spoil it, but I don't think you can say it was THAT bad of a decision to take there.
yes, you are right.  I just like guys who can do it more consistently.

9 of those since June 21, 13 games and 1 inning tonight.  Not sure who got to him but they deserve a raise.

I can't totally blame them. They have Detwiler, Zimmermann, Olsen, Marquis, and Wang rehabbing right now. I think most people thought Lannan and Marquis would be the stable part of the rotation coming into this season.
