OH YES.

I think we're gonna win this game.  Brilliant move bringing Day in!

Schneider is crazy hot.  I can't believe I just wrote that.

Do you realize that Brian Schneider has gotten on base for his last eight at-bats?

edit: Incidentally, it's shame it took us facing one of our own starters for our offense to wake up.  But then again, I suppose there's a reason that Zach Day is now pitching for the Colorado Rockies and not a contending team.

Now the next thing you're gonna see is Zach Day on the bench in the dugout with doe-eyes like he used to do with us.    Sorry Zach...no Tomo Ohka moment for you.

Hey, what exactly happened with Day?  I know there was some sort of contretemps between Day and FR, but I know nothing else of this.  Can somebody clue me in to what problems Day had when he was w/the Nats (other than sucking, that is)?

And looking at the lineup, this was exactly my plan.  Get a lead and then give Guzman some at-bats late in the game.

Oh how I wish I could get a screen capture.

Still, can anybody clue me into what went down between Day and Robinson before he got injured?

Day very much like Ohka did later, turned his back on Frank when he came to take him out?

They took out Church to put in Marlon Byrd.

For once, a substitution that actually makes sense.  Byrd may be a slumping bat, but he's clutch on defense.

Base hit.

I think FR yanked Patterson too early.  And now that Stanton's coming on, I get worried.  Why do I worry?  Because I'm a Nationals fan.
