HA!  Right before he came up, I said "Come on Pudge!  Opposite-field gapper!"

Joe Buck advocating trading Pudge.

Dude, we have NO OTHER CATCHERS IN THE SYSTEM. Do some research.

I'd say Norris is quite the prize.

Still has an OPS near .800 and that's with a recently broken hamate bone... which takes a year to recover.

Yea, but if we trade Pudge, we start Wil Nieves every day and I don't even know who our back up is. Norris probably isn't in the majors until 2011 late.

I was thinking 2012... but your point is well taken.

YESSSS

now SS can't lose

my thoughts exactly.  i usually don't care who is on the mound who is in the batters box when game winning hits are made, etc ... just as long as they win.  but in the case of Strasburg, let's face it, the Nats don't get a lot of positive publicity, except when it comes to talking about SS.

Yea, probably should have made it more clear that I meant that we have no one close to the majors.

The national media look at the Nationals as the farm system for the teams that matter.

Is there anyone left in the entire world that thinks Flores will actually come back?

Meh....it's nothing special. Takahashi and Dickey aren't pitchers I'd want on my staff.

Look at what your staff is
