I'm stunned that we won this game!

Since I know somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody  ;)  I'm sure firejimriggleman.com would have been ready to launch tonight after the way we managed the last part of this game.

Nyjer had a very good game. Almost had a big faux pas in the outfield, but he didn't.  The RBI to tie, and the bunt single to push Harris along was a key play.   Love seeing Nyjer bunting to the right, he's catching teams offguard those last two times.

If Nyjer can repeat last night's dribbler bunt on the grass towards first he is going to get on an awful lot. Tonight's was a good start!

I hope Nyjer sticks around. His stupid Tony Plush character has ruined him... and it sees he's clowning again in the press conference.

He'll never learn.

I want Nyjer to succeed so bad because his personality can be so good for the team.

I don't mind Nyjer celebrating after a game like this, even though his T-Plush act has gotten old

Good on Nyjer.  he's been ragged on (probably rightfully so) quite a bit. so if he can get dogged, conversely he can get praise when he plays well.

Let me be clear... I WANT him to play like last year... I just don't like T. Plush when the team is losing and he can barely hit his body weight.

Yea, I want him to do well because if he's playing well his whole act is a good thing and bearable.

Demond didn't score in that inning. Come on Riggs, you should know this.

What would say his personality is worth, around 20 wins?  :?

Without his attitude, the team probably has 20 less wins this season.

Willie walks, Nyjer bunts, Guzman gets a base hit and Zimmm gets the walk off sac fly - great night for baseball, great night for some of the apparently least favorite players.
It was a fun game to watch, a good battle.

July 2007? Did we even have 20 wins at that point?

EDIT: I was thinking July 2008, 2007 was the Manny Acta for manager of the year year, right?

You can't have Nyger without Tony.  They go together.  As Forest Gump would say "...like peas and carrots".
