On June 28, 2010, Desmond committed an error on a tailor-made double-play ball, likely costing Stephen Strasburg an all-star appearance.

The right side of the infield must change. I don't care if you lose power at first base. #Nats

It's the middle that's killing us, not Dunn.  Sure, he's limited, but he's far from the biggest problem we have.

That's such a weird tweet from Labby... what has the right side done tonight that deserves his ire?

Dunn has one of the few hits.

This is a time when I wish Bruney was still on the team.

I'd love to see his post game press conference.
We need to bring back Joey Eischen.  Somebody with fire and will tell it like it is in the clubhouse.

National tv is going to stop picking up the Strasburg games.  The rest of the team completely overtakes what good you get from Strasburg.
The way tonites game is playing out is why Stephen Strasburg should be the Nats Rep at the Allstar game. Period!!!!!

Desmond was named the 19th best prospect and the best defensive shortstop in the South Atlantic League by Baseball America at the end of 2005.

The big mystery is Nyjer Morgan. Maybe it's time to see what Bernie can do in center and Mike Morse can do in right. #Nats

Not much of a mystery anymore, Bill.

That wikipedia is kind of bullcrap. If people care about Strasburg making the All Star game more than this team... kinda bs. We need Strasburgs arm. Id rather him NOT MAKE THE ALL STAR GAME than anything. Let him make it when we play. (not ****blocking Strasburg at all)

I do like when Dibble gets pissy.

It makes me hopeful that someone in management is listening and change will be made.

How about Alberto Gonzales?  he's arguably hurt us less than anyone else this season given how little he plays.

Here's my guess.... Nyjer or Desmond gets sent out tonight to 'shake' up the team.
