OOne proud mf'er

I would be embarrassed then as well because of what it says about the rest of the team.

The Royals laid the blueprint for getting on base against Strasburg.

Which one? That he cheated on his wife with a reporter?

I'm sure he's the first.

What exactly does McCatty do?

Other than say throw strikes?

Depends who he's talking to. He tells Strasburg not to throw too many strikes.

Braves trivia;

From the famous 1992 NLCS where Francisco Cabera singled in two runs with two outs in the ninth off Stan Belinda.  Sid Bream scored the WINNING run, who scored from third on the single with the TIE run?

Know what?   That's when I soured on my Bucs.   It was a work night and it was past midnight.   I'm still bummed.   I'm glad we have baseball in DC.   It's helping me get past my issues.

I agree. How would you feel if we only got one representative and it was Strasburg?

He's probably the guy on our team best positioned to help the NL in trying to win.  And he's the one guy we have that would command premium interest by fans buying tickets to the game.  Why not give them their money's worth, let them see an inning of Stras?

Justice or Pendleton...

I'm going with Justice.

Strasburg K created by WNFF member Roarin Storen

E Hinske struck out swinging.
B McCann struck out swinging.

After 4 IP:
Hudson 72 pitches, 47 strikes
Strasburg 46 pitches, 28 strikes

Good Lord Ed.   It was after midnight when the game was over.   I'm thinking you started a little before that ... just sayin'.  :)

Who'd want him?  The Red Sox have lost their 2nd baseman, possibly for a month and I'll bet they think they can do better than Kennedy.

correct Justice....Pentleton started the inning with a double vs Drabek and scored the first run of the three run inning(Gant SF).

Just as Dibble is saying... why do they keep pulling everything?

Doesn't Eckstein tell them to take it to right field?

We should be aiming the ball, softly, at Jones.  Make him run on those old legs!

Seriously... I know the further away you are, the easier it is to criticize... but we can't be the only one that knows Hudson lives on the outside corner.
