Well we can reasonably postulate that Nieves will be starting.

Quote from: me in yesterday's game thread
I'm guessing, that Nyjer Morgan get's his "regularly scheduled day off" tomorrow and we can finally see our Willingham/Bernadina/Morse outfield.

Despite the presence of Nieves, I'm excited to see this 2-6.

Other than Pukeman at DH and batting lead-off I like the lineup.

Bernadina batting 2  I love being right. Everyone on here ripped me repeatedly over the years for believing that Roger was going to be a productive ML hitter and now he is a beast like I envisioned all along. Where's JMAD? Hammonds? Others? I thought his '08 year was a fluke?

again your favorite player is wil nieves.

oh and you mean guzman who happens to be leading the team in average?

and while i'm happy with bernadina's progress the last two weeks, let's see him do this for a more extended period of time ... if he can't do it ... we're going to need a david dejesus type.

You've got to be one of the most self-aggrandizing people I've ever met.  And that's saying something around here

Guzman is 5 for 13 career against Bonderman.  Seems like a good candidate for leadoff to me.

Hope Atilano can keep us in the game today. I like our chances against Bonderman ... which means he'll throw a no-hitter :blah:

Do you blame me? You know how much crap I got around here for saying that Bernie was going to be a quality Major Leaguer. People deserve to have it thrown back at them.

I kind of agree with this. Not that AC is any kind of scouting genius, but he stuck with Bernadina and took a lot of crap from everyone (probably me too at some point).

I suppose.  I just wish everything wasn't a pissing contest over people's favorites/anti-favorites.  I've noticed that you guys are almost never like that in the hockey thread.

I never really understood why he took so much flak anyway.  He played well and was generating some buzz before his ankle injury.

Eh, the CLOWN also loves Wil "I should be selling peanuts wearing an apology sandwichboard" Nieves. Great outfield, good infield.

Switch out Guzman for Kennedy when we remove the DH, and place Pudge in the catchers spot... and this is pretty much my lineup of choice right now.

1. Kennedy
2. Bernadina
3. Zimmerman
4. Dunn
5. Willingham
6. Pudge
7. Morse
8. Desmond

I'd rather Bernadina leading off and Kennedy batting second, but otherwise that looks good.

Of course we're assuming Riggleman sticks with today's outfield for a while, which he probably won't :(
