This road trip is more nightmarish than the last one.

So, Roger has a very deep flyout and a single taken away from him by a great play.

Riggleman will use this as an excuse to play Nyjer even more.

<PC>All our pitchers are doing is controlling the size of the loss</PC

So true. This team's offense is a complete laughingstock. They do not know how to put big innings together or score early in games to take the pressure off the starter. Completely worthless.

This year is lost... no need to try and find a quick fix. Just wait for the troops to come of the DL. It'll suck, but it'll be worth it in the end. (I hope)

most notably wil nieves 8)

it's your opinion, but imo, a lot of this is on the starting pitching.  we scored runs for lannan, he couldn't hold onto the lead.  we gave livan an early lead last night, he gave it right back.  when your starting pitcher can't even go five innings your trouble.  lannan has given up 20 hits in his last two starts.  livan had a bad start for once.  atilano and martin aren't major leaguers.

Yea, we're so close to getting some real reinforcements, but it seems so far away. Detwiler might be rushed if he continues to pitch real well.

If he can bring back a long-term SP, we should really consider it. We have Dunn at 1B and maybe Morse.

I'd like to see our total offensive numbers in games in which Nieves started vs. games in which Pudge started.

This team desperately needs starting pitching.  There is a huge, gaping chasm between what we have and what we need as far as starting pitching goes.
