Should we give Chico another shot?

it's the question to ask now.  do you sit around with the current AAAA selection and just hope detwiler/zimmermann/marquis/olsen/wang can come back and contribute ... or go out and make a move for top flight pitcher.

may as well bunt him over nieves, you are a guaranteed out.

Was thinking along similar lines.

it's funny my dad hasn't called wil nieves by his name in forever...it's always "oh good guaranteed out is in the line-up again today" :hang:

I doubt Nieves can drive in this run and all he has to do is hit in the outfield!

LOL, nice. The only thing that can't score a run.

lol @ Nieves. 8 pitches and you strike out swinging with a man on third. Go go consecutive out #(Whatever you're up to now).

So will Riggleman continue to play Guzman everyday, despite his now ice-cold bat? We all know he's streaky, might as well get Kennedy in there against righties until he gets in a rhythm .

How sad is it that a 21-year old with 2 ML starts is by far our best pitcher? Yikes.

To be fair he would be the best pitcher on quite a number of teams..

He's a top 10 pitcher in the league. Our current rotation is terrible, though.

Back to pitching -- What about Martis?  Looks like he's pitched very well in his last 3 starts. I think he's going tonite -- interesting to see how he does.  Certainly can't be worse than the others (except Stras and Livo of course).
